
Anjana Bishankhe
Anjana Bishankhe is a former member of the Parliament of Nepal, where she served on the Education and Health Parliamentary Committee. She was also a member of the Central Committee Secretariat of the Communist Party of Nepal – Maoist Centre and currently holds the position of Coordinator for the Inter-Party Dalit Women’s Alliance. Anjana’s professional and intellectual interests encompass the intersection of caste, class, and gender, particularly from an anthropological perspective. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Anthropology at Tri-Chandra College and holds a Bachelor’s in Law from Nepal Law Campus. At JFP, Anjana serves as a faculty member and is part of a Working Group that is interrogating the interconnectedness of caste, class, and gender for research and policy considerations in Nepal and beyond.
