Tri Ratna Manandhar
Tri Ratna Manandhar received his M.A. and Ph.D. from Tribhuvan University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Historical Studies from Cambridge University (UK). He served in various capacities at Tribhuvan University for over forty years (1967-2008), including Professor and Head of the Central Department of History, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Chairperson of the Nepal Studies Subject Committee.
Dr. Manandhar has actively participated in and presented papers at numerous international conferences in Asia, Europe, and America. He has authored twenty-one books on the history of Nepal and published over 180 articles in national and international journals and magazines. He also served as a member of the Royal Nepal Academy (Prajna Sabha) and the Academy Service Commission (1991-96), and as Vice Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University (2010-14).
